Patriots star Christian Gonzalez labeled ‘the goat on and off the field’ after surprising parents with dream house
NEW England Patriots star defender Christian Gonzalez hasn't forgotten the sacrifices his parents made to get him where he is today.
NFL fans marveled at the second-year cornerback gifting his parents a new home.
The 2023 Patriots first-round pick Gonzalez wanted to ensure his parents were set before training camp began.
The 22-year-old bought his mom, Temple, and dad, Hector, a new house and showed the moment of their reactions to the present in an Instagram reel.
Gonzalez hugged both of his parents as he told them at the beginning of the clip, "You guys deserve this and even more."
His mom entered the residence and opened her mouth in astonishment at the property.

She also got to see a pool in the big backyard.
Gonzalez and his mother hugged at the end of the video.
The Oregon Ducks product wrote the caption of the Instagram post, "Mom and Dad, I told you guys when I started this football journey at 5 years old I was going to put you in a place you couldn’t imagine.
"You guys deserve this and even more. I love y’all! Welcome Home!!"

Gonzalez was able to use part of his $15 million rookie contract to help his parents out.
He will hope to bounce back after suffering a season-ending shoulder injury last season.
Gonzalez was named the Defensive Rookie of the Year for his four total games in September.
During those contests, he recorded 17 total tackles and an interception.
Gonzalez and the Patriots will begin participating in training camp on Wednesday.
