Ohtani hit his first-ever All-Star game home run last week, and he followed that up with another one in his first series back from the break.

During the fifth inning, the two-time MVP hit a solo shot off Red Sox right-hander Kutter Crawford.

The home run went 473 feet as it cleared the right field bleachers and appeared to land just under the roof of the right field pavilion.

Ohtani's home run made it 6-2 Dodgers as it was the fifth round-tripper of the day for Los Angeles.

MLB fans were in awe of Ohtani's home run, which almost left Dodger Stadium on X.

"He's a beast," one commented.

"Shohei is not human," another wrote.

"Most talented player to ever touch the diamond," a third added.

"Shohei is built different," a fourth stated.

Ohtani's home run was his 30th for the season, which leads the National League.

The Japanese star hit his 30th home run in his 100th game of the campaign, the fifth-fastest of any player in Dodgers history.

Ohtani won his second MVP with the Los Angeles Angels last season, hitting 44 home runs in 135 games.

He is on his way to earning his third MVP this year.

Ohtani is currently on pace for 49 home runs, which would tie the franchise record set by Shawn Green in 2001.

The slugger also leads the NL in runs scored (78), OPS (1.038), extra-base hits (59), and total bases (243).

In the offseason, Ohtani signed a 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers, the largest contract in American sports.
