KAY Adams has pleaded for the New York Jets to give a contract to one of their new additions to the team.

The FanDuel TV Up & Adams host, 37, believes the Jets should give a deal to star edge rusher Hasson Reddick, who's in a contract dispute with the organization.

Reddick, who is in his final year of contract, did not report to the Jets' first day of training camp on Tuesday.

The two-time Pro Bowler has skipped New York's entire offseason program, including mandatory minicamp sessions last month.

The Jets received Reddick's services from the Philadelphia Eagles, who traded him for March for a 2026 conditional third-round pick.

Kay dove into the topic and revealed that New York has to hand a contract to the 29-year-old.

"I think it would be a mistake to not get this done," she said.

"I'd love for the Jets to figure it out and get a contract."

Adams then shared that Reddick has the capability of turning the Jets' fortunes around.

"Could he not be the difference-maker to make this team super contenders?" the 37-year-old asked.

Reddick will make $14.5 million this season.

New York attempted to sign Reddick to an extension when the trade occurred, but they won't negotiate with him if he is not in camp, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.

The Jets assumed that Reddick would participate in the offseason program and play the season under his current contract after he rejected their contract offer at the time of the trade.

Gang Green wanted the extension talks to occur later in the season or the next offseason.

Reddick will now face a mandatory fine of $50,000 per day during his holdout.

The continued absence of the pass rusher comes as the Jets have eyes on the Super Bowl.

Aaron Rodgers is gearing up to play in his first full campaign with New York after he tore his Achilles tendon in the fourth snap in Week 1 of last season.

Reddick is one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL.

The soon-to-be 30-year-old has 27 sacks in the last two seasons.

Reddick has reportedly wanted $25 million per year in a new contract.

If Reddick makes his way back to the Jets, he will join a defense that ranked third in yards allowed.

The Jets will trade a 2026 second-round pick instead of a third-round pick if Reddick plays 67.5% of the snaps and posts at least 10 sacks in 2024.
