‘Tom Brady was very mad’ says Michael Rubin as he sheds light on 4th of July party’s star-studded beach football game
THE retired NFL legend Tom Brady's competitive nature was shown in a recent friendly football outing.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion took part in a July 4 beach football game in the Hamptons before Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin's well-known white party.
Rubin appeared in an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks as he revealed that Brady was “very mad” that he lost the football game.
"He was mad, very mad," the 52-year-old said about Brady’s psyche after the loss.
"I was also mad too ’cause I thought we were going to win."
Rubin revealed that he was Brady's first pick on the team, and called that decision a "mistake."

"That’s like when you draft somebody wrong," the sports businessman added.
"Tom drafting me with the first pick was a gigantic error."
Brady and Rubin's team included NFL stars Odell Beckham Jr., and Micah Parsons as well as rapper Travis Scott.
Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin picked off Brady for a touchdown during the game, and a clip of the sequence went viral on the Internet.

Rubin shared that the other team, which also featured Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, was up for the task of beating Brady.
"What I didn’t realize for C.J. and Damar was they’re like ‘We’re playing f–king Tom Brady,'" Rubin looked back on the game.
"‘You guys are having fun, we’re coming to kill.’ … I mean Tom always wants to win in everything he does.
"The other team was like ‘This is our chance to actually beat Tom Brady.'"
The star-studded white party included celebrities Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z, Drake, and Lil Wayne, among others.
The outing also included sports stars James Harden, Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, Olivia Dunne, and Brady's former teammate and retired NFL legend Rob Gronkowski.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft also showed up to the occasion.
The white party is a yearly celebrity-filled, Independence bash that Rubin hosts at his beachfront mansion in the Hamptons.
Each partygoer wears white to the outing.
Brady will soon be entering his first season as a broadcaster for Fox's NFL coverage.

He will be the network's top analyst alongside play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt.
Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million broadcasting deal with Fox in 2022 while he was still in the NFL.
