They added that both head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane had since called Anderson, adding that "he was in good spirits."

"He is expected to be released from the hospital later this afternoon."

Well-wishers flocked to the comments section after learning of Anderson's condition.

"Get well soon bro," one said.

"They need to be on these boys about staying hydrated," suggested a second.

"Thinking of him and hoping for a quick recovery!!" added another.

After practice, fellow lineman Dion Dawkins was asked by reporters about their concern for Anderson.

"It's not as nerve-wracking as you would think because our medical staff is top tier," he said.

Anderson has yet to make an appearance for Buffalo since being picked up as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2022.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Buffalo added veteran safety Kareem Jackson.

The 36-year-old former Houston Texan was signed to a one-year deal, as the former first-round pick looks to suit up for what would be his 16th NFL season.
