Gronkowski joined remotely on GMFB for seven-plus minutes.

He appeared on the show alongside hosts Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, Peter Schrager, and Akbar Gbajabiamila.

The program stunningly brought on comedian and impersonator Joey Mulinaro, who wore sunglasses and pretended to act like Gronkowski.

Mulinaro brought up Gronkowki's former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Tom Brady and his Netflix roast in May.

Numerous NFL and Patriots greats, including Gronkowski, and celebrities took part in roasting the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Brady roasted the participants at the end of the special, and Mulinaro decided to ask a surprising question about his performance to Gronkowski.

"My first question... who do you think had the worst time on stage that night, Tom or Ben Affleck?" he asked Gronk.

The GMFB hosts laughed hysterically at Mulinaro's question.

After appearing to be caught off guard by the question, Gronkowski said, "I saw Tom. He was sipping a lot of tequila while he was on the stage."

But the 35-year-old couldn't criticize his ex-teammate and went with Affleck, who received poor reviews from many for his roast, specifically for his peculiar rant where he called out social media users who criticize Brady.

"I would have to go with Ben Affleck," Gronkowski said.

"He just showed up, did his thing, and ran out of there.

"I don't think he enjoyed it that much or else he would've stayed."

The sequence with Mulinaro wasn't the only time that Gronkowski spoke about Brady.

During GMFB, the Fox NFL star Gronkowski shared his belief that his former teammate Tom Brady will be a great broadcaster.

Brady will begin his 10-year, $375 million deal this upcoming season as Fox's lead football broadcast analyst.

"I think Tom Brady's gonna absolutely dominate in the booth," Gronkowski said about his Fox NFL teammate.

"He'll definitely have his ups and downs, of course. Anyone entering a new gig in life, you're gonna have some lessons you're gonna have to learn.

"But overall I think he's gonna be very successful.

"The advice I would give him is, 'Don't overthink, just be yourself.'

"Just go out there and share that gift that he was born with. And that gift is a knowledge of football."
