On Monday, the Chiefs revealed a "point of emphasis" that they geared toward improving on in training camp and the upcoming season.

Kansas City shared on their website that they focused on "moving the chains when facing short third-down situations" in Monday's practice.

The team then "executed a variety of play designs during the period, which included completed passes to tight ends Travis Kelce, Noah Gray and Irv Smith."

Among the plays was a hook and ladder trick play that circulated on X.

Kelce and running back Isiah Pacheco were part of the play.

The star tight end caught the ball from Mahomes on the right side, and proceeded to pitch it back to Pacheco who ran for what appeared to be about 10 yards before being pushed out of bounds.

Fans were blown away with the play, and believe opposing teams have their work cut out for them when they will face the Chiefs.

"Man the offense is going to be so explosive this season. Going to be so fun," one stated.

"There’s only one HC / team that would allow this at practice, it’s the team that has 3 super bowls in the last 6 years…" another wrote.

"Chiefs are scoring 4 TDs this season on a Hook and Ladder play call. Bookmark it," a third added.

On Monday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared his approval of the team's effort in practice.

"Good work today. The guys are busting their tail and getting after it," said Reid.

"I appreciate that.

"It's warm, so they're getting good [work in the heat]."

A social media user posted a clip of a blindfolded Mahomes spinning around a pole to get dizzy.

He was then asked to throw a football at a target in a net.
