FIRST Take fans are furious and are sharing their frustration on social media after Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim missed Tuesday's episode.

Host Qerim was away on vacation, with Shae Cornette stepping into the anchor role while Courtney Cronin, Clinton Yates, and Joe Fortenbaugh joined her to debate all things sports.

Current lead analysts Smith and Shannon Sharpe were absent as they continued their summer vacations.

Fans were not happy with the new look cast and took to social media to share their anger.

"No @MollyQerim no @stephenasmith no watching @FirstTake," raged one fan.

"First Take and their C team this whole week," a second said, adding a crying emoji.

"Let First Take know that no one is watching them rn," a third claimed, adding a crying emoji.

"@FirstTake is so boring right now !" said a fourth.

The new look cast discussed sports topics which included a possible Brandon Aiyuk trade, Simone Biles and the Team USA gymnastics team, and the Michigan Wolverines.

Fans did not have to sit through the sports debate program for long as it was cut off just 60 minutes into the show.

First Take was cut short on ESPN due to Game 4 of the Little League Softball tournament.

Maryland and Pennsylvania began their game at 11 am Eastern, with the game also streaming live on Fubo.

Because of the game First Take was broadcast on the sports networks sister channel ESPN2.

Fans were shown a re-run of the program beginning on the channel at 11 am Eastern with new content starting at noon.

It has not been announced when Smith or Qerim will return this week.

Meanwhile, Smith ended his vacation briefly to host a special live First Take at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago.

STEPHEN A. Smith is now the face of ESPN and an executive producer on First Take having initially started working for the company back in 2003.

Smith has held various roles with the network, including hosting radio shows, SportsCenter contributions, and appearing on NBA Countdown.

He was a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer from 1994 to 2010.

His began as an NBA writer before becoming a general sports columnist.

Before that, Smith worked as a reporter with Winston-Salem Journal, the Greensboro News, and the New York Daily News.

"I was on vacation but y'all are more important than vacation," Smith said as he was welcomed by crowds in Illinois.

"Damn it, it means a lot because I was having a good time."

Smith caused quite a reaction on social media after he revealed his top five sports cities in the United States.

The First Take host list from five to one included, Houston, Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, and Boston.

"SAS knows leaving LA off the list will get max engagement," one fan said, adding a laughing emoji.
