PATRICK Mahomes' father has celebrated six months of sobriety following his February arrest for DWI.

The incident, which occurred just days before his son played at Super Bowl LVIII, was at least the third DUI involving Mahomes Sr.

The father of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes was pulled over by cops in Smith County, Texas, on February 3.

He is set to go on trial later this month on alleged charges of third-offense driving while intoxicated.

Mahomes Sr. is a former MLB pitcher and played in the major leagues for 11 seasons.

He faces a potential 10-year sentence and up to a $10,000 fine, per The Daily Mail.

He previously served 40 days in jail in 2019 for a similar offense.

Pat now claims to have been sober for six months, marking the milestone with his 32,000 Instagram followers on Tuesday.

Posing for a picture alongside Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose, Mahomes Sr. revealed his journey to sobriety.

"I would like to Thank my God wife family and friends for 6 months on the sunny side of the road," Pat wrote.

"I know it’s been hard getting to know sober Pat but it’s well worth it."

"Trisha Mahomes thanks for all you do," he said, referencing his wife.

"My brother!! All the way up from here! Happy for you and incredibly proud of you!" wrote one follower in support.

"Amazing!! Way to be sober for yourself and family," said another.

"Congratulations! Players make plays and this is the ultimate play," added a third.

"HUGE congratulations! That’s hard work. You’ve got this & so happy you have such a great support system," commented a fourth.

Pat was arrested last month for driving on a suspended license in Smith County.

Mahomes Sr. was cited by police for driving on an invalid license, per TMZ.

Court documents show the 53-year-old was ticketed for the offense at 8:30 pm Eastern on June 29.

He was initially pulled over and given a warning for allegedly disregarding traffic signs, per the report.
