Travis Kelce back in practice after ‘concerned’ Chiefs star was ready to fly to Europe and be with Taylor Swift

NFL star Travis Kelce has returned to practice as girlfriend Taylor Swift continues to reel from a foiled terror plot.
The Kansas City Chiefs star offered to fly out to Austria after cops foiled an ISIS plan to attack Swift's concerts in Vienna.

Swift's three scheduled Austrian shows were all canceled after three teenagers were arrested on Tuesday.
A 19-year-old allegedly planned to drive his car into an area that would hold 20,000 fans and "kill as many people as possible," according to Austrian security officials.
Kelce "contacted Taylor immediately" and "talked with her for hours to show support", a source told The U.S. Sun.
"He even suggested flying to Austria to be there for her if she wanted him to do so, even if it was for a day or two," the insider added.

"But Taylor is going to keep working and focus on the next dates, with the London concert, to wrap up the Euro part in the best way."
A "concerned" Kelce ultimately stayed in Missouri as the Chiefs continued their preparations for the 2024 season.
Kansas City is set to play its first pre-season game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night.
The organization shared a snap of sweaty Kelce taking a knee alongside Patrick Mahomes following a tough session on Thursday.

Kelce and Swift have been dating since last summer, with the 14-time Grammy winner a regular at Chiefs games in 2023.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has been struggling with the distance between the pair over recent weeks, and "hates being apart" from his beau.
'A great escape'

Kelce and Swift have been constant presences at each other's events, and Reid shared that he thinks they enjoy getting out of the spotlight.
"He can handle it. I think there's a great escape for him," Reid told the Athletic.
"I said that about Taylor too. I mean, she comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show.
"And when he goes to her concerts, she's the star and he can be hanging out there and be the support or the waterboy."
"It’s not easy to deal with that distance, and he wants to be very supportive and [let her know] that she can count on him," the source continued.
"He has one of his phones always right next to him when he goes to sleep in case she needs to talk to him.
"They did spend some long hours on the phone yesterday as it’s not a common situation to deal with, and he always wants to be Taylor’s rock and best fan and number one supporter whatever happens.
"He was feeling relieved that the concerts got canceled, as it’s the best decision to be taken in this kind of context. "
Travis has also been touring jewelry shops around the world as rumors of an engagement hot up.
The tight-end star found a $250,000 band bedazzled with the "finest diamonds," an insider told The U.S. Sun earlier this week.
"It probably took more than 40 shop visits and 100 Zoom calls and meetings with jewelry experts to find what he was looking for," the insider added.
"He finally found the ring he is sure she will love."
Swift meanwhile is taking some days off following the "scary" Vienna incident.
She heads back to London to close out the European leg of the Eras Tour next week.

The 34-year-old will then head back to North America for concerts in Canada and the US.
