They have been in dominant form so far at the Paris Olympics and will be fully expected to bring home gold medals in both matches - and fans can watch the games for FREE.

How can I watch Team USA basketball for free?

Not all Team USA basketball has been available for free during the Olympics in Paris.

NBC is the main rights holder in the US but not every event has been available through the TV.

A lot of the events have been made available on Peacock, NBC's streaming service that comes with a $13.99 subscription price.

However, NBC has decided to make both the men's and women's gold medal matches available on TV totally for FREE for US viewers.

When are the Team USA basketball finals?

LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Co have been in scintillating form during the men's basketball tournament.

They breezed past Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico in the group phase and then destroyed Brazil in the quarter-finals.

Serbia put up a much tougher test in the semi-final, but LeBron posted a triple-double - becoming the first player ever to do it twice - and Curry poured in 36 points in a thriller.

Steve Kerr's team face a large task, literally, against France's supersized lineup, which includes Victor Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert.

Joel Embiid is also likely to be a key figure but will face vociferous boos from the French crowd - as he has done throughout the tournament.

Having won seven consecutive Olympic gold medals - and nine of 11 overall - Cheryl Reeve's women are not expected to take home anything less than the top prize.

They have a star-studded team with the likes of Diana Taurasi, A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Chelsea Gray Sabrina Ionescu et al.

At the time of writing, Team USA are in action against Australia in the semi-finals, with France facing Belgium in the other semi.

  • Should they reach the final, the game will tip off at 9.30am ET on Sunday, August 11.
