Williams recently spoke to ESPN's Courtney Cronin about his health regimen.

The USC product opened up about a rookies' meet-and-greet breakfast event in Los Angeles where he had the opportunity to speak to the seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady.

Williams shared that the 47-yera-old Brady made him realize how important "competitive stamina" can be, and that dieting and being a leader goes a long way into being successful.

"He kept harping on competitive stamina," Williams said.

"He kept harping on being around your guys, understanding them, that relationship.

"The job is hard. That's what he said.

"It's tough to go out there and win games.

"Doing the best you can in the film room, with your diet and all the other things that you can control, go out there and handle those things, it gives your chances of winning games and doing what you want to do, it gives you the best chances."

The ESPN reporter then revealed that Williams "has adopted several of Brady's processes" which includes Brady's TB12 diet.

The Bears quarterback started following the diet before training camp.

That means Williams has a mostly plant-based diet which eliminates numerous dietary staples with the goal of not dealing with inflammation.

Brady played for 23 seasons in the NFL and credits his longevity to his diet.

Williams cannot eat a wide range of foods and ingredients thanks to the TB12 diet, which includes dairy products milk, cheese, yogurt, or ice cream, no alcoholic beverages, red meat, and common carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, cereal, etc.

"I know he's been reaching out to a lot of different people, talking to Tom Brady a lot," Williams' roommate and Bears rookie wide receiver John Jackson III told ESPN.
