‘That’s the plan Akbar’ Jamie Erdahl shouts at GMFB co-host after her passionate Minnesota Vikings rant
Erdahl named the person that she sees having a huge impact on the Vikings' fortunes
JAMIE Erdahl exclaimed "That's the plan Akbar" after convincing her fellow GMFB panelist about the Minnesota Vikings' prospects this season.
Erdahl, 35, is high on the Vikings going into the new NFL campaign.

During a segment on GMFB, the panelists were tasked with speculating over who will be the best team in the NFC North during the coming season.
Taking a slight zag, Erdahl responded: "I will answer who should be the No2 team but only because I don't know who the No1 team is.
"That can actually be up for grabs between the Bears and the Lions and the Packers, because I do want to put the Vikings at the second best team in the NFC North."
Revealing exactly why, she then explained: "I look at the Brian Flores experience, in the second year as defensive coordinator in Minnesota and the fact that we saw from what he wanted to accomplish in Minnesota last year.

"The Dallas Turner draft pick for the Vikings out of Alabama was a home run within this Vikings defense.
"I was a little nervous when Danielle Hunter was able to walk away and leave this defense but clearly Brian Flores has a plan.
"And you know who else he brought in in this off season?
"It's not going to blow your hair back, but it might blow his hair back, it's Andrew Van Ginkel. He is a part of this Vikings defense.

"The fact is, there was a stretch last year where the Vikings were winning games.
"The beginning of the season was rough. Kirk Cousins gets hurt. In the middle, Brian Flores starts to feel himself and they were top five in the league in several categories.

"Injuries started to supplant them and that sucks, but man, the Flores plan of action is to get a guy like Dallas Turner... when that happened for the Vikings late round in the draft this spring I could not believe he was still on the board.
"If you're looking at young rookie quarterbacks, like remove Jared Goff, you're looking at Jordan Love and Caleb Williams - I'd be scared if I were going up against that Vikings defense twice a season.
"So I'll put them at two, only because I'm not sure what's going on with the quarterback position, but I think their defense is coming."
Following Erdahl's impassioned explanation, her fellow panelist Akbar Gbajabiamila admitted: "You moved me a little bit towards the Vikings."

Erdahl responded by fist pumping and shouting: "That's the plan Akbar!"
Minnesota began their preseason schedule by hosting the Las Vegas Raiders at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday.
Kevin O'Connell's men triumphed 24-23, largely due to a 14-0 third quarter run.
The game saw J.J. McCarthy make his preseason debut for the Vikings.

Discussing the No10 pick's game, O'Connell said: "Clearly, everybody can see the arm talent.
"I just love seeing him come right back after the interception, still be aggressive and still stay true to footwork, timing, rhythm, where his eyes should be."
