Travis Kelce takes Kansas City Chiefs rookie ‘under his wing’ as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend becomes leader of team
TRAVIS Kelce has become a mentor for a Kansas City Chiefs rookie player during training camp.
Chiefs rookie offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia revealed how the NFL star tight end Kelce has helped guide him in the league.
Suamataia was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Since then, the BYU product has gotten support from the eight-time Pro Bowler Kelce.
Suamataia told reporters on Tuesday that Kelce has taken him "under his wing" since they have been teammates.
"Travis is a funny guy, the 21-year-old said at training camp.

"It feels like an older brother relationshpi that I have with him.
"He kind of took me under his wing when I first got here.
"It's real nice having him, having that role model."
Suamataia also said that Kelce "knows a bit of (his) culture."

"He understands the Polynesian culture, where I'm from (and) how we love hard," he added.
"That's how he plays and how he shows it out there on the field."
Suamataia has been practicing with the first-team offense throughout training camp.
He played alongside Patrick Mahomes, Kelce and the starters in Kansas City's first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend.
With second-year lineman Wayna Morris dealing with a knee injury, Suamataia has been gaining momentum to being the Chiefs' starting left tackle.
As for Kelce, he will be playing in his 12th season in the league.
The boyfriend of Taylor Swift caught a reception in the first preseason contest.
It's unlikely that Kelce appears again in the preseason.
Kansas City will take on the Detroit Lions in their second preseason contest on Saturday.
