Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone sends emotional message to family and ‘people who stood by me’ after stunning Paris Olympics
McLaughlin now has four gold medals at just 25 years old
TEAM USA Olympian Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone has shared a touching message following her dominance in Paris.
McLaughlin won two gold medals for Team USA with no one coming even close to her.

At the Paris Olympics, McLaughlin brough home gold with a new world record in the women's 400m hurdles.
She also teamed up with three other women to absolutely crush the competition in the 4x400m relay.
On Tuesday she got on Instagram to thank everyone who helped her along the way to her gold medals.
"This post is dedicated to my team. My people," McLaughlin wrote.

"The people who stood with me through it all. All the sweat, blood, tears. The days that almost killed me, And the ones I killed.
"Every detail. Everyone did their part. Executed their role. Not one variable overlooked.
"That’s what it takes to get here. That’s what it will take to stay here. Literally could not do it without them.
"It takes a village. I love you all! We did it. To all those not pictured, we love you!"

Fans flooded her comments to share their praises after she helped Team USA top the medal count in Paris.

At just 25 years old, McLaughlin already has four Olympic medals, all gold.
In the Tokyo 2020 Olympics she also won gold in the 400m hurdles and 4x400m race.
McLaughlin will very likely go for the three-peat when the Olympics come to Los Angeles in 2028, as she will be 29 years old at the time.

There is still no one anywhere close to her times in the events she runs either.
She ran a second and a half quicker than the next competitor in the 400m hurdles and two seconds quicker than any of her teammates' splits in the 4x400m race.
