AN Olympic golden girl claims athletes "lived in filth" at the Paris village.
Swimming hero Ariarne Titmus blasted dirty bedsheets and a stingy allocation of toilet paper.

The Aussie retained her 2020 Games' crown in the 400m freestyle this summer but joined other top competitors in criticising conditions.
Titmus, 23, caused more ripples over the village in a frank interview after returning home.
She told Australian news show The Project: "The village isn't as glamorous as people think.
"My bathroom in my apartment was bigger than the living room for the four of us.

"Our bedsheets got changed after the first night we were there and then they didn't get changed for the rest of the time we were there, so we were living in filth.
"We had to lie about being roommates so we could get toilet rolls.
"You'd run out of toilet paper and they'd give you one (roll) for four days for the entire apartment."
Titmus' comments follow men's 100m backstroke champ Thomas Ceccon being pictured napping in a Paris park.

Nearly 15,000 residents - around 10,500 of which are athletes - will be cramming into the Olympic village between July 26 and August 11.
To ensure the athletes feel at home, a number of provisions have been made by organisers.
One of these is the stocking of some 300,000 condoms, in theory enough for around two every day during the run of the Games.
A number of Olympic athletes have opened the door on their steamy lives behind-the-scenes when in camp, including huge sex orgies and parties.
London 2012 had claimed the title of "the raunchiest Games ever", but the 150,000 condoms ordered paled in comparison to the 450,000 ordered for the Rio Games four years later.
Condoms have been laid on by organisers at every game since Seoul 1988, when it they were used to spread awareness of HIV and AIDS.
Even with an intimacy ban at Tokyo 2020 due to Covid-19, some 150,000 johnnies were handed out.

Peaty, 29, was particularly cutting in his verdict on the catering at Paris - alleging that some athletes found WORMS in the fish.
He called the food provision "not good enough for the level the athletes are expected to perform".
In particular, he reckoned there was a shortage of meat and other "protein options".
