WWE champ Becky Lynch issues warning to Khabib and backs fellow Irish superstar McGregor to win UFC rematch
WWE CHAMPION Becky Lynch has warned Khabib Nurmagomedov he will be defeated by her fellow Irish superstar Conor McGregor in a rematch.
Notorious returned to the Octagon in stunning fashion four weeks ago to stop Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds at UFC 246 after a 15-month absence.
That was his first fight since his explosive defeat to Lightweight king Khabib in October 2018.
Naturally that sparked calls for the 31-year-old to battle The Eagle again.
And the Limerick-born Lynch, who has trained in the famous John Kavanagh SBG gym used by McGregor, has no doubts who would come out on top in a second battle.
Speaking to TMZ, the wrestler said: “Conor's got it. Of course I'm going to say my countryman, he's got it.
“He out-struck Khabib in that last fight, and I think he's been working.
“You saw it in the last fight, he's got a new game plan, his head is firmly in it. I think he wins it.
“I think he's got that dedication. He backs it up.”

Khabib followed up his triumph over McGregor with a third round submission win over Dustin Poirier in September to stretch his record to 28-0.
McGregor, who now stands at 22-4, would love nothing more than to inflict a first-ever defeat on the Dagestani.
But Khabib has so far resisted calls for fight two and claims his foe does not deserve a rematch.
He is next in action at Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre at UFC 249 on April 18 when he defends his belt against Tony Ferguson.
