WWE star Samoa Joe doubt for WrestleMania after getting injured in bizarre accident while filming advert

WWE star Samoa Joe has reportedly suffered another injury and is currently not cleared to wrestle after hitting his head while filming an advert.

The Samoan Submission Machine could now even be a doubt for WrestleMania after sources claimed he could miss "a considerable amount of time."

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the 40-year-old took a serious blow to the head during a bad table break as WWE filmed a stunt for an upcoming advert.

Joe - real name Nuufolau Joel Seanoa - had only recovered from a spell on the sidelines last month after suffering a recent concussion.

Following WWE's ramped up concussion policy, the RAW ace will face a fight to enter into a serious WrestleMania program on April 5 depending on how long he is out.

Joe had only been given a one-minute squash win over Rey Mysterio for the US title during last year's extravaganza in New Jersey.

Despite being one of the most talented performers on the roster, the former Ring of Honor's latest injury is his FIFTH in just three years.

Joe spent three months on the sidelines in late 2019 after breaking his thumb in September.
