THE FIEND Bray Wyatt dominated WWE legend John Cena in a bizarre Firefly Fun House Match at WrestleMania 36.

Six years after Bray Wyatt suffered a crushing defeat to the Leader of the Cenation at WrestleMania 30, the Eater of Worlds finally earned his long-awaited revenge.

Standing in an empty ring, Wyatt made a mock-up of the Ruthless Aggression era in a skit where he played Kurt Angle.

The Hall of Famer was the man Cena faced in his debut on SmackDown back in 2002.

The returning hero made his way into the ropes without his trademark jean shorts in his retro gear only to be dug out about his former fiancee Nikki Bella as Wyatt sung the former Divas champions' theme tune.

The bizarre match continued with Cena's evolution into the Dr of Thuganomics, as he rapped about his opponent's failed run as Nexus flop Husky McGillicutty.

Wyatt then hit back by cutting a promo as his former Eater of Worlds' character before another skit saw him mimic Eric Bischoff.

Cena then came back to the ring ala Hollywood Hulk Hogan NWO style while a puppet of Vince McMahon on commentary remarked: "This is such good s***."

The niche reference was a nod to his position as a semi-retired wrestler as he continues his burgeoning film career.

Finally breaking free of Wyatt's spell, Cena finally was decked out in his ring gear when the Fiend in all his glory appeared behind him.

Applying the mandible claw twice in between a Sister Abigail, the 42-year-old was left passed out.

This year's WrestleMania took place over two nights for the first time in history and was filmed at the WWE Performance Center due to the coronavirus pandemic.
