A number of states are under lockdown, with others practicing strong social distancing measures.

WWE's WrestleMania of course took place behind closed doors at the Performance Center in Florida last weekend.

And despite no fans attending the event, it went down a treat with the wrestling fraternity.

Clashes such as The Undertaker's win over AJ Styles in the Boneyard Match and The Fiend's victory against John Cena in the Firefly Fun House fight were lauded.

But MITB won't be able to take place at that venue, with Florida now under more stringent lockdown.

A statement from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, where the event was scheduled to take place, read: "The WWE Money in the Bank event originally scheduled for Sunday, May 10 in Baltimore has been cancelled.

"Refunds are available at all points of purchase."

The WWE are confident that the show, which will be pre-recorded, will go ahead as planned for transmission on May 10.

This year's WrestleMania took place over two nights for the first time in history and was filmed at the WWE Performance Center due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It was due to be hosted in Tampa Bay, Florida, in front of a packed-out 70,000-plus crowd, but was axed last month.
