WWE star Kairi Sane suffers ‘significant head cut’ forcing match to stopped to clean up blood during Nia Jax fight

WWE star Kairi Sane reportedly suffered a 'significant head cut' which forced her match against Nia Jax to be stopped to clean up her blood.

Fightful claim that the duo were fighting outside the ring when the Kabuki Warriors member was busted open after being thrown into the ring steps.

The report adds that the match was then stopped for Sane to receive medical attention but the 31-year-old indicated that she was fine.

The Pirate Princess is then said to have insisted on finishing the match during Tuesday's tapings which WWE will now edit before airing on Monday.

Respected wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer then corroborated the report with Nia Jax coming in for heavy criticism from fans.

The incident comes just a month after the 35-year-old, real name Savelina Fanene, was accused of being “dangerous” in the ring after she threw Kairi Sane neck first into the turnbuckle.

Jax, who recently appeared to hit out at Ronda Rousey for consistently hurting Alexa Bliss during matches, has been involved in similar botches before.

And the likes of the Goddess herself, as well as Ember Moon and Zelina Vega have all ended up injured after battling The Irresistible Force.

But chief among them was Becky Lynch, who had her nose broken by Jax prior to Survivor Series, which in turn cancelled her bout with Rousey.

Thankfully, the Man's refusal to break character on TV following the blow ultimately helped seal her megastar status.

The image of a bloodied Lynch squaring up for a fight has since become of WWE's most iconic images in recent times.

Jax meanwhile only returned from a long spell on the sidelines herself earlier this year.
