Inside WWE star Rey Mysterio’s £1m Californian home where he collects swords including a blade from The Scorpion King
IT'S the end of the era.
After nearly two decades entertaining fans in the WWE, Rey Mysterio, 45, is retiring from the organisation.
Regarded as the 'best little man' the wrestling world has ever seen, the Mexican wrestler is set to call time on his illustrious career with a special ceremony on Monday Night RAW, held by rival Seth Rollins
During his time in the squared circle, Mysterio has amassed a fortune believed to be worth £7million.
And with that money, he's bought a £1million Californian home and invested in an epic sword collection.
THE DIGS
The 4,301 square-feet home in Chula Vista, San Diego county boasts five bedrooms and five bathrooms and was built in 2004.
Mysterio, real-name Oscar Gutierrez Rubio, invited the WWE round to his home in 2012.
And he couldn't wait to show off his favourite things inside the house.
The first stop was a huge fish tank that the 5ft 6in star needs a stool to stand on to feed an array of tropical fish he owns.
"It happens to be stress relieving," he reveals as he sprinkles fish flakes into the tank.
WEAPON OF CHOICE
But the most impressive items Mysterio owns are his swords.
He owns a variety, including one with a "trippy" blade, and another he bought in Japan that was imported.
However, the coolest might just be a 'prop' sword from Hollywood blockbuster The Scorpion King, that starred Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
In the WWE clip, Mysterio even cheekily invites Johnson to his home to sign it.
OFFICE SPACE
Mysterio calls it the room he DOESN'T do any work in.
But inside his office, you'll find plenty of toys that are collector's items.
He admitted he has roughly 100 action figures, some that have been made of him through the years stemming from his time in the WCW to the WWE, and others.
They are strictly for show, and not to be played with - as he warns.
PERSONALISED SKATEBOARD
Another of Mysterio's prized possessions is his personalised skateboard.
It's made by Soul Ryde Custom.
