Conor McGregor vs Vince McMahon with winner getting rights to billionaire strut a ‘match made in heaven’, says Triple H

CONOR MCGREGOR has been offered the chance to cross over to the WWE to face Vince McMahon for the right to claim the 'Billionaire Strut'.

Triple H believes an encounter between the Notorious and the veteran promoter to show off their distinct walking styles would be a "match made in heaven."

WWE chief McMahon's walk to the ring—known as the "Billionaire Strut"—is one of the most famous character traits in professional wrestling history.

The power stride was later adopted by McGregor - with a more exaggerated use of his arms and legs - to celebrate his wins in the Octagon.

The Irishman's version of the strut throughout his mixed martial arts career has led to the likes of Paul Pogba and Alan Power attributing the walk to him.

Speaking in 2017 about famous sportspeople using the walk, McGregor said: "Vince McMahon must be p****d."

But WWE legends Paige, Kurt Angle and SmackDown Women's Champ Bayley all said Vince's version is the real deal during SunSport's 'Ten Count.'

Triple H has now revealed his own unique idea for the two sporting icons to settle the matter once and for all inside the squared circle.

Conor McGregor versus Vince McMahon with that Billion Dollar Walk on the line?! I mean, I think that’s a match made in heaven

WWE legend Triple H

He told TMZ Sports: “I think that Conor McGregor versus Vince McMahon with that Billion Dollar Walk on the line?! I mean, I think that’s a match made in heaven!”

Although the Game didn’t mention what type of match it would be, the invitation is the latest offer to McGregor to appear in the WWE.

The UFC two-division king has teased leaving the cage to follow Tyson Fury, Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar into professional wrestling.

And Triple H has said that the nature of McMahon's WWE is built to showcase athletes from across the sporting industry.

He added: “The nature of what we do… It lends itself into combat sports. It lends itself into people like Conor McGregor, or others as it [did] with Tyson Fury. And did it in the past with Floyd [Mayweather].”

A match between McGregor and 74-year-old McMahon might be out of the question considering the latter only made his first direct involvement in a bout in eight years last month.

But a chance to watch the two masters on the mic trade verbal barbs is likely to interest fans from all over.

In the meantime, McGregor has unfinished business in UFC and has been promised the winner between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje.
