Tommy Fury moved out of £3.5m mansion for KSI fight because he can’t ‘be a cuddly dad and rip someone’s head off’

TOMMY FURY revealed he moved out of his family home because it would have been impossible to juggle being a doting dad and ferocious fighter.

The 2019 Love Island star - who met fiancee Molly-Mae Hague on the reality TV show - shares a £3.5million mansion with his partner.

But he spent ten weeks away from the Cheshire pad while training to fight KSI last Saturday in Manchester.

And Fury - who beat 30-year-old KSI in a controversial points win - explained why he left home while speaking on Good Morning Britain.

He said: "I removed myself from home, all the comforts of home life.

"I've been seeing Molly and the baby once a week for the past ten weeks and it's been so tough.

"But at the end of the day I can't switch from being a super-dad, a cuddly dad, a cuddly fiance giving kisses and cuddles out to then a few hours later going to training and wanting to rip someone's head off.

"It's very difficult to get yourself out of those spaces so I thought I'd remove myself to solely concentrate on the fight and the task at hand. So that's the reason why I moved out."

Fury, 24, added: "I think it's tough because I don't like to balance home life, family life with my job.

"I keep them both completely separate because at the end of the day nothing comes between my family and home life.

"So at the end of the day it wouldn't be fair to my family coming through the door with just a fight on my mind and that's all you need when you're in training camp.

"So I prefer to go away and focus on the fight and come back after the training sessions and just think about the fight constantly, 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

Molly-Mae was ringside at the sold out AO Arena in Manchester - but she did not watch any of the fight itself.

Fury revealed: "On the fight on Saturday night I genuinely think she watched the whole thing through the floor.

"She didn't look up from the floor once. And at the end of the day, it is what it is, I can understand it.

"She's my fiancee, I'm the father to our beautiful baby daughter and she doesn't want to see me in there taking punches.

"So I understand where she's coming from but she tolerates it because she knows how happy it makes me.

"She knows that without boxing my tick doesn't tick so I need boxing in my life and she understands that."
