Nick was a professional drifter for Dodge until July 2007.

While he's known for his appearances on his family's reality TV show and for his brief stint as a drifter, Nick has also made the news for numerous car accidents.

On September 13, 2006, Nick was driving a loaned yellow 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT when it caught on fire.

A few days later, on September 17, 2006, Nick was stopped twice for driving over the speed limit in Miami and Tampa, Florida.

He received a warning for his first incident, and a ticket for the second when he was reportedly driving 115 mph in a 70 mph zone.

He also received three speeding tickets in 2007.

Two weeks after his fourth speeding ticket in 11 months, Nick was also involved in a serious car crash.

The crash occurred in Clearwater, Florida, on August 26, 2007.

Nick, then just 17 years old, was driving a yellow Toyota Supra, which fishtailed, spun across the road, and crashed first into the road's median, and then into a palm tree.

The car was destroyed, but Nick suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital on August 27.

His passenger, John Graziano, sustained eye and brain injuries, and he is expected to need full-time care in a nursing home for the remainder of his life.

On May 9, 2008, Nick entered a no-contest plea and was sentenced to eight months in prison, five years probation, and 500 community service hours.

His driver's license was also suspended for three years.

Nick was released early from prison on October 21, 2008.

On May 4, 2012, he was also released from his felony probation.

Unfortunately, Nick's legal troubles didn't end there, as he was arrested again in November 2023.

When was Nick Hogan arrested?

On November 18, 2023, around 4 am, Nick was stopped by police in Clearwater, Florida.

According to TMZ, he allegedly refused to submit to sobriety testing, and police "booked him on suspicion of driving under the influence."

In Nick's arrest report, it was revealed that he was going 51 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone.

When he approached a traffic stop, Nick refused to slow down or stop his 2021 Dodge Ram, even after being signaled by cops to do so.

During a court arraignment in December 2023, Nick pleaded not guilty to his recent arrest.

His lawyers also requested that he be allowed in venues that serve alcohol so he can continue to work as a DJ.

The court had previously ordered Nick to stay away from bars, clubs, or "establishments where alcoholic beverages are primarily served” as one of the conditions of his release.

Nick's pre-trial hearing is set to begin on January 17, 2024, at 9:30 am ET in the Pinellas County Court.

On January 18, 2024, Law & Crime released a 40-minute video on their YouTube channel, showing body-cam footage from the night of Nick's arrest.

About 25 minutes into the video, Hulk Hogan appears on camera, coming to his son's aid.

He is seen holding a walking stick, talking to the police, making a few phone calls on his cell phone, and confirming that Nick is going to spend about "eight hours in custody" with one of the officers.

He also provides his phone number to an officer, who says they'll pass it on to Nick.

Nick's girlfriend, Tana Lea, also makes an appearance in the footage, about 30 minutes into the video clip.

She is seen apologizing for being "emotional," and crying, saying she isn't "doing anything wrong."

The officers also request to breathalyze her multiple times, which she complies with.

She then repeats herself to the police multiple times, saying, "I'm not drunk, I'm sad," before adding that she didn't even get a chance to talk to her boyfriend before he was carted away by police.

"I didn't say anything to him – I didn't say goodbye," she tearfully said.

The camera then cuts back to Hulk Hogan, who remains cool, calm, and collected in the police officers' presence.

It's not the first time Hulk Hogan remained calm under pressure.
