Sergej Milinkovic-Savic broke the deadlock just after the hour mark before ex-Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic struck twice at the death.

That stretched top of the table Al-Hilal’s lead at the top over second-placed Al-Nassr to seven points.

But Ronaldo’s woes started at half time while the game was still goalless.

The 38-year-old was subjected to chants of Messi’s name at the King Fahd International Stadium at the whistle.

And Ronaldo could not help respond to them, blowing a kiss to the home supporters that were trying to antagonise him and smiling.

However, he looked a lot more angry at the final whistle after his side’s second half collapse left their title hopes in tatters.

It was the forward’s first blank in four league games for Al-Nassr and he was spotted deep in conversation with a Saudi representative at full time as he trudged back to the changing room.

Ronaldo then wagged his finger at the individual and shook his head in disapproving fashion.

The ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United man continued to speak animatedly with the Saudi official as fans continued to jeer him.

It is not the first time that the icon has been subjected to chants for his long-term personal rival Messi since his arrival in the Middle East.

Ronaldo was even seen SHUSHING fans chanting for Messi last month.

Meanwhile, the Al-Nassr star and Argentine will have one “Last Dance” and will play against each other one more time.

The two magicians have battled it out for years on the pitch during their respective spells with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Now it has been confirmed that they will collide one more time in the Middle East.

Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr will face Messi’s MLS side Inter Miami in February as part of the Riyadh Season Cup and the match is being billed as ‘The Last Dance’.

Fresh from winning the World Cup with Argentina last December, Messi left PSG to head Stateside and sign for the David Beckham-owned Inter Miami earlier this year.

The forward, who has lifted the Ballon d'Or a record eight times, has since secured them their first-piece of silverware as they won the Leagues Cup.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo headed to Al-Nassr in January following his explosive exit from Manchester United.

Despite missing out on the title in his first season there, he was celebrating in August as he helped Al-Nassr to Arab Club Champions Cup success.
