GONE IN 62 SECONDS

Tommy Fury batters hapless Przemslaw Binienda as rival fails to throw a single punch on Love Island star’s return

TOMMY FURY spent nine long months out of the ring and just 62 seconds in it on his long-awaited return.

The Love Island hunk needed a warm-up fight after returning from his reality TV stint but he barely broke sweat demolishing lamb to the slaughter Przemslaw Binienda in just over a minute.

The 20-year-old brother of former heavyweight world champ Tyson Fury swapped The Villa for the Copper Box in East London to thrill his new fans and ringside girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.

Fury arrived with a 2-0 record and a stunning body to match his faultless face, Binienda not as pretty at 2-26 and safe to assume without much modelling experience.

Binienda was floored after just 15 seconds, Fury caught him with a big right hand and chased him across the ring until the Pole folded twice and the referee ended the agony.

Fury said: "It feels amazing. Thanks to all those fans that have turned out. I wasn't looking for a KO, I was boxing to a gameplan.

“I would not be here without my dad, it's father and son and we are going to the top.

“It's mad, this year I have gained a lovely soulmate in Molly, I am back to my boxing, let's head to 2020 and more great stuff.”

To his credit, the journeyman beat the first count and tried to continue but Fury was having none of it and battered him back to the deck.

A third assault was just unfair and the crowd was relieved when the referee jumped in to save the shellshocked chap any more punishment.

Proud father Big John, urged his son's fans to give him time to grow after little amateur experience.

He said: "We are in no rush, he is only a child, he has great potential, look where one son has gone and see whether he can follow in his footsteps.

"I am very proud of all my sons, they are doing their job and they are pleasing the crowd.

"Having a Fury brothers' fight night on TV would be my dream."
