A VETERANS match in Brazil spilled over into chaos on the weekend with World Cup winning legend Romario caught up in a scuffle.
The final of the Master 50 tournament in Rio De Janeiro initially ended in a 1-1 draw after the former striker scored for his side.
However, extra-time saw Vila Operaria snatch victory off Familia Caja and a brawl quickly escalated.
According to local media, Romario was in the middle of the scuffle with the footage posted on social media.
Wearing the No11 shirt, the 53-year-old is seen trying to break up the scuffle.
It is said the feud came about from the over-eager celebrations of the winning side.
Having retired from playing in 2007, it is important Romario keeps his nose clean because he is now a senator in the Brazilian congress.
First elected in 2010, he initially came through with the Brazilian Socialist Party before moving over to Podemos - a centrist group that finished ninth in last year's presidential election.
