Man Utd chiefs and players fear Paul Pogba has played last game for Red Devils with star determined to force exit
MANCHESTER UNITED chiefs and players fear Paul Pogba has played his last game for the club, according to reports.
The French World Cup winner, 26, last appeared for the Red Devils in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal on September 30.
His persistent ankle injury - as well as a recent bout of illness after his brother's wedding - means he remains out of action for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.
And with the transfer window reopening in less than two weeks' time, the Mirror report that the United board and even some players think they will not see him in a Red Devils shirt again.
Pogba tried to force through a dream move to Real Madrid in the summer but his current club refused to budge on their asking price of £150million.
The La Liga giants are still thought to be very interested in luring Pogba away with boss Zinedine Zidane a huge fan.

But former club Juventus may also try and make a move for the midfielder - although United publicly remain determined he is part of their long-term plans.
Sources close to Pogba say he is keen to leave and has no interest in extending his contract, which has two-and-a-half years to run.
United previously stated he would not be sold in January and maintain that nothing has changed now.
Speaking ahead of the 3-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Colchester, boss Solskjaer said: “Of all things Paul’s struck down ill now.
“He’s been off for two or three days — three days probably — so that’s not beneficial.

"That’s probably set him back quite a bit.
“As I’ve said so many times, Paul’s a top, top player that we want to see playing his best football at Manchester United.”
Pog was pictured walking his dog near his Cheshire home on Monday and in November was snapped playing basketball with Miami Heat while out injured.
