Tottenham transfer news: Pochettino, Alli, Kane, Vertonghen, Lloris, Son and Eriksen reportedly eye new Spurs contracts

Real Madrid are interested in the Argentine boss as well as his star striker but this should warn them off

TOTTENHAM are ready to secure Mauricio Pochettino and six first-team stars on new long-term contracts, according to reports.

Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen are all expected to agree new terms alongside their hotshot boss, claim the Telegraph.

The new deal for the Argentine manager will make him one of the highest paid coaches in the Premier League.

Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid all want the former Southampton boss to lead their next revolution but a new Spurs deal worth around £8.5 million-a-year is set to tie him down.

Poch currently coins in around £5.5m, making him the fourth highest earner behind Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

The 46-year-old former defender is arguably outperforming that trio based on budgets but he is expected to ask the club for more power and money for his next period in charge.

Fulham’s teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon is at the top of the list of summer targets.

But Toby Alderweireld remains in Poch’s bad books and out of his team over his giant wage demands that leave PSG ready to offer the centre-back £200,000-a-week.

HEARO Tottenham star Dele Alli hailed by Mauricio Pochettino as ‘fighter’ as midfielder tells Chelsea fans to zip it

Alli, Kane, Vertonghen, Lloris, Eriksen and Son are all expected to be receptive to their new offers.

But Belgium midfielder Moussa Dembele has caused concern by revealing he will wait until after the World Cup before entering negotiations.

Goalkeeper Lloris believes the new stadium, the Stamford Bridge win over Chelsea and the man in dugout make the perfect recipe for success.

The Frenchman said after the weekend away win over the Blues: “Obviously, with the new stadium something big is waiting for us and we cannot see this future without the Champions League, so beating Chelsea was a good answer, a collective answer and we will keep working hard, and, believe me, with the manager we have got - he will be behind us.”
