Klopp says ‘I am not a clown’ after he’s asked to do fist pumps by Sky Sports cameraman
JURGEN KLOPP refused to play for the Sky Sports cameras as he celebrated Liverpool's huge win over Manchester City.
The Reds chief was all smiles as his side took an eight-point lead in the title race with a 3-1 triumph.
But after a cameraman in close attendance asked him to do his trademark fist pumps, he shook his head.
Klopp could be seen to mouth "I'm not a clown" as he walked off the field celebrating with the Anfield crowd.
Liverpool took the lead through Fabinho's controversial strike as City appealed in vain for a handball against trent Alexander-Arnold.
VAR decided not to award the penalty and also ruled Mo Salah onside as he scored a second.
Sadio Mane's diving header piled the misery on City before Bernardo Silva pulled one back for the defending champs, who are now nine points behind their rivals.
After the game, Klopp told BBC Sport: "They were good. Oh they were good and we had to defend with all we had but we scored incredible goals.
"It was so tough to play, the intensity of the game was so clear. It was all worth it, really great. They pass the ball from outside, Sterling. How good did we defend him until then? Because you saw what happens when we don't defend him anymore.

"The boys were completely focused and concentrated. It was so good. It is the only way we can beat City, maybe other teams can do it a different way but this is the only way we can beat them.
"The problem was the VAR. I saw the discussions before the first goal and I was just waiting. It is not the same anymore but it is no problem. I can celebrate tonight.
"All the games against City were pretty much like this apart from last season's home game. That was more controlled. This was not the most beautiful and most controlled but it was very lively, I like that."
