ARGENTINA'S friendly with Uruguay in Tel Aviv is now a major doubt after Israel was hit with 50 rockets fired from the Gaza Strip.
The game is set to take place on November 18 but after the recent attack it could now be called off, according to the Daily Mail.
Other sporting events being held in Israel are being cancelled and now the game featuring Lionel Messi could be next.
Maccabi Tel Aviv's game with Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Israeli Basketball League scheduled for November 20 has been cancelled for safety reasons.
The recent attack was in response to an Israeli strike targeting Northern Gaza that killed Jihad leader Bahaa Abu el-Atta on Monday.
The strike also killed his wife and injured their children.
Palestinian rockets were launched just two hours later setting off alarms across Tel-Aviv as schools and businesses were closed on Tuesday.
Their missiles are usually unable to reach Israel's capital city - but that isn't stopping officials being cautious.
