'TOUGH WOMAN'

Watch WWE commentator Renee Young get accidentally left bloodied after a boot to the face on SmackDown Live

WWE commentator Renee Young was left bloodied and battered last night after taking an accidental boot to the face on live TV.

The SmackDown star was standing in at ringside alongside Tom Philips and Pat McAfee when the shocking incident happened.

The trio were calling the Friday night show after most of the WWE roster were left stranded in Saudi Arabia.

The majority of their stars could not leave after the Crown Jewel pay-per-view after mechanical issues with their plane.

But Young was able to get to Buffalo, US, and was hit by a stray boot midway through the exciting programme.

NXT ace Tegan Knox launched Sonya Deville over the commentary table when she was smashed in the mouth.

McAfee and Phillips got out the way, but she could not and revealed to viewers she had been left bloodied.

Social media went wild after the blunder, with most hailing how tough Young was for carrying on throughout the show.

One said: "Renee is one tough woman! She took that like an absolute champ!"

Another added: "Damn renee young is tough she caught a boot to the face got a bloody nose and is still at the commentary table."

And one more said: "Damn... Renee Young sounds legit p'ed off. Her and Tom Phillips both got nailed by accident on that toss."

Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar quit SmackDown last night to join rival show Monday Night RAW.

He was first to appear on SmackDown, announcing he was "p***ed of" following the pay-per-view that saw him retain the belt against Cain Velasquez.

He destroyed old UFC rival Velasquez in less than two-minutes, but was then attacked by Rey Mysterio with a chair.

And Lesnar revealed he would be leaving SmackDown to head to RAW to pursue the diminutive Mexican.

Heyman also threatened WWE chief Vince McMahon with a legal lawsuit if he stopped the move across brands.

The switch looks to be happening after 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt won the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel.

The WWE would not want to have both their man titles on the same programme, so always split them apart.
