KING'S HOMECOMING

Tyson Fury to appear in WWE again this Friday on SmackDown Live for homecoming show with Strowman rematch hinted

TYSON FURY is returning to WWE again following his successful wrestling debut last week.

The Gypsy King, 31, raised eyebrows last month when it was announced he would be swapping the boxing ring for the squared-circle to battle 27st Braun Strowman.

The lineal heavyweight champion took on the “Monster Among Men” at WWE’s Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

And he continued his undefeated record by defeating his huge opponent via countout after KOing Strowman with a huge right to leave him prone outside the ring.

But his celebration was shortlived, as the former tag-team title holder recovered and hit Fury with a powerslam before departing backstage.

Now the two men could potentially clash again when WWE hits Manchester on Friday to film SmackDown after the company confirmed that the boxer would be in attendance.

An official WWE statement read: “In the wake of a debut victory at WWE Crown Jewel, Tyson Fury will head to Friday Night SmackDown this week on FOX.

“As reported on WWE Backstage, The Gypsy King is slated to appear when the blue brand broadcasts from the lineal heavyweight champion’s hometown of Manchester, England.

“With Fury in the building, Braun Strowman shouldn’t be far behind as the two brawlers have unfinished business.

“Are Fury and Strowman headed for another epic collision?”

Meanwhile, Fury has confirmed he WILL fight Deontay Wilder in February to “finish what I started” in an Instagram video posted today.

Hitting back at the American’s claims he has been avoiding him, the Brit said: “This is a message to address Deontay Wilder's recent comments on ‘how I don't want to fight him’.

“Ooh, how afraid of him I am...

“If I was afraid of you I wouldn't have fought you after having three years out of the ring and beaten you in your own country.

“They had to rob me and give you a draw, so I don't know why on Earth you'd think I was bothered with you.

“Just get through your fight with Ortiz, do your own thing, stop using my name for relevance...

“You should be on 20 per cent, but you're not - I'm giving you a fair share, because I'm a fair man.

“I don't ask for anything in this world. I work hard for everything.

“So the thing is with you, Wilder, crack on with your own business and I'll see you February 22 to finish what I started.

“This time you're gonna get smashed, you big bum dosser. End of.”
