Many users have proclaimed their love for the device.

"I have 8 Echos in various rooms and from several generations. Yep, I have a big house ... What attracted me to this generation was that onboard voice capabilities that makes response faster," one user said.

"I also liked the design better than the looks of the previous generations and that I could see the activity ‘light ring’ when I was sitting down."

The user also praised the spherical design of the device saying it really improved the sound quality.

"Replaced my decade-old alarm clock with this and couldn't be happier," gushed a second person.

"She hears me from the hallway. She is like having a personal assistant, which is super helpful for me while recovering from a concussion I got a month ago."

While the Echo is a great purchase, those wishing to save even more money, should turn their eyes to the Amazon Dot.

The fifth-generation Dot — charcoal, white and deep sea blue — promises to deliver an amazing audio experience.

"Enjoy an improved audio experience compared to any previous Echo Dot with Alexa for clearer vocals, deeper bass and vibrant sound in any room," the product description reads.
