Italian-themed waterpark in the US has a wave pool, lazy river, and ‘Leaning Tower of Pisa’
AMERICANS no longer need to book a trip abroad to enjoy la dolce vita.
A US waterpark comes complete with Italian-themed attractions, including its own "Leaning Tower of Pisa."
DelGrosso's Park and Laguna Splash is located in Tipton, Pennsylvania, quite far away from the Bel Paese.
However, that doesn't deter the abundance of rides and attractions inspired by Italian landmarks.
According to the park, it was built on the Bland Family Farm by Fred DelGrosso and his wife, Mafalda.
Although it was bought by the DelGrosso family in 1946, it was called Bland's Park until 2000.

A bucket-shaped structure suspended in the air splashes a whopping 450 gallons of water on parkgoers about every two-and-a-half minutes.
