‘World’s most beautiful city’ is in the UK and it’s more scenic than Paris and Vienna
LONDON has been crowned the most beautiful city to visit during spring.
London is often slammed for its gloomy weather and relentlessly fast-paced way of life.
However, the Big Smoke has been ranked the most picturesque and beautiful places to visit, according to research by Travelbag.
The hashtag SpringInLondon was included more than 100,000 times in dreamy Instagram posts, with many dwellers and locals snapping the city's gorgeous parks blooming with daffodils from March through to May.
There are iconic vistas aplenty to take in as you stroll down the banks of the River Thames, with the Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral and the London Eye to name a few.
London's parks equally offer sublime panoramic views.
Hampstead Heath and Primrose Park are buzzing with activity thanks to its stunning views of the capital.
London pipped Paris, who came in second place, with 78,981 Instagram posts tagged #SpringinParis.
Paris, known as one of the world's most romantic cities, is emphasised by the beautiful winding river Seine.
Stateside, Seattle is the place to be to take in spring's charm.

The Pacific Northwest city is famed for its whale watching, particularly during the spring months.

Melbourne, with 23,549 Instagram posts tagged #SpringinMelbourne, comes in fourth.
