WHOOPI Goldberg interrupted Tuesday's episode of The View to berate an audience member who was breaking a strict studio rule.

The incident happened abruptly as co-host Sunny Hostin was in the middle of a sentence, and Whoopi wouldn't let her finish.

"Hold on. Hold on, sir," she said on Tuesday's episode, as she rose out of her seat.

Whoopi, 68, walked behind the hosts' table and over to where the crew stands.

"What's going in?" Sunny, 55, asked.

"I have to stop you with the camera because I can see you," Whoopi said.

The audience member shouted something inaudible back.

She asked the audience member not to take the camera out again before walking back to her seat.

Joy Behar asked, "What was he doing?" as the audience cheered Whoopi on.

"Recording," Sara Haines answered, before taking a sip of her drink.

"Oh," Joy replied.

Whoopi pointed to Sunny to continue and sat back down.

The hosts were debating whether or not former President Donald Trump's upcoming trial would make him more appealing to voters.

Before the incident occurred, Whoopi seemed distracted as Alyssa Farah Griffin talked.

She looked beyond her co-host and shifted in her seat before getting up and interrupting Sunny, who spoke next.

THE VIEW'S RULES

When attending a taping of The View, audience members have strict rules they need to follow.

An audience member told The U.S. Sun in 2022 that, once a ticket request is approved, guests are informed of the strict dress code.

Fans should avoid solid black and white clothing but instead should opt for bright and "trendy" outfits.

They also cannot wear sleeveless tops, low-cut necklines, or shorts.

No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the studio.

Audience members are escorted to the bathroom before the show starts and during pre-recorded segments.

And cell phones are allowed inside, but they have to be turned off and put away during the live taping.

NOT A FAN

Whoopi has scolded View audience members in the past.

Last June, she stopped the show to reprimand a fan for their unacceptable behavior.

Senator Tim Scott appeared on the talk show to discuss his Republican presidential campaign.

While most of the hosts did not agree with the senator, they kept a cool and calm attitude.

However, some audience members did not do a good job of keeping their opinions to themselves.

One fan even booed Scott and Whoopi scolded them.

“Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. No, no, no, no! Not here!” she said, pointing at the audience member.

Whoopi apologized to the senator and then continued to scold the audience.

“Do not boo! This is The View,” the moderator said.

“We accept– we don’t have to believe everything people will say, but you cannot boo people here. Please. You cannot do it!”

Some audience members clapped at Whoopi's response, as the hosts and guest continued their conversation.
