While the pre-taped A Different World reunion was airing, the warm-up comic asked questions to the hosts that the crowd had submitted, an insider revealed to The U.S. Sun.

"The hosts continued to have a very long talk with the audience that was very up close and personal," the source said.

The "raw" 30-minute conversation included topics about relationships, life struggles, career changes and even celebrity crushes.

One question was which special guest gave them goosebumps, per the insider, which led to the hosts spilling their crushes.

While Alyssa and Sunny both agreed it was actor Michael Douglas - he was on The View the day prior - because of his "energy and charisma," Joy and Whoopi both said that theirs were "dead."

Sara gushed that hers was Idris Elba and that she'll always be a fan and say his name when asked about her favorite guest.

Joy then mentioned Robert De Niro and called him "hot" and said there was "nothing hotter than a 79-year-old having a baby."

The Oscar winner, who's actually 80 years old, welcomed daughter Gia with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45, in April 2023.

Another hot topic was a struggling 25-year-old who wasn't sure if she should move to another state for a new job since she didn't feel like she was getting treated fairly as the men in her position.

"This topic prompted all the hosts to weigh in and share their opinions since they seemed concerned for the young adult," the insider shared with The U.S. Sun.

The View's Whoopi Goldberg appears 'tired' and 'uninterested' during show taping as she faces retirement rumors

"The hosts engaged with the audience member for a good 10 minutes and they started taking sides - her side or her mother's side who was seated next to her."

"The audience was shocked how invested the hosts were in helping people and how much time they dedicated to giving advice," the insider continued.

Following this, someone wanted to know what he should do to fix his relationship after doing something wrong - but didn't get into details.

"Did he cheat?" Sunny questioned.

As the person chose to be anonymous, she said he should just, "Apologize and give her jewelry," which had the audience laughing.

JOY CONFESSES

To wrap up the Q&A that "seemed never ending," Joy gave advice to a fan who questioned if starting comedy in your 40s is too late.

The star admitted that around that age is when she, herself, first started getting into comedy.

She went on to say that her first gig ever was really good, but then admitted that the second stand up show she ever did bombed.

"Joy wasn't scared to confess that people threw popcorn at her during one of her stand up gigs," the insider told The U.S. Sun.

"She also said that this one venue in Catskills, New York, is notorious for people just walking out because it's a free venue, so she said she doesn't like to perform there."

Most recently, Joy became a playwright and debuted her first comedy show, Bonkers in the Boroughs: Five Short Plays, in November 2023 in New York City.

TAKING A BREAK

After the very long talk with The View hosts, the show ended with with an interview with singer-songwriter Huey Lewis who was there to promote his new Broadway play, The Heart of Rock and Roll.

The hosts returned to tape two episodes on Thursday, April 18, before taking a week-long break.

Friday, April 19th's episode was pre-recorded.
