On Friday, May 10, Whoopi, 68, sat down with journalist Don Lemon on the Dom Lemon Show.

"Do you ever get lonely?" Don, 58, asked.

"You know why I'm asking that?... Because I just got married," Don replied.

"And remember before when you wrote the book about how marriage was not for you, I interviewed you then and we talked about it just personally."

"And I said, 'I don't think marriage is for me'," he finished.

Whoopi said that she thought Don had no idea what it entailed.

Don then asked Whoopi if it was true that she doesn't like people living in her house.

"I don't mind people living in my house. The truth of the matter is I am fundamentally a selfish person," Whoopi said.
