America’s Got Talent 2024 LIVE — Howie Mandel ‘bowled over’ by Golden Buzzer winner, 14, who left viewers in tears

HOWIE Mandel has given out his second Golden Buzzer on this season of America's Got Talent.
Singer Reid Wilson, 14, blew the judges away when he sang Lesley Gore's You Don't Own Me for his audition.
Howie Mandel said he was "bowled over" because he was so "surprised" by the performance, leading him to give the Alabama contestant his last Golden Buzzer.
Reid's audition didn't just impress Howie, it also left AGT viewers sharing their tearful reactions to the teen's talent on social media.
"Reid’s performance brought me to tears. That was incredible Howie with the golden buzzer," one fan shared on X as another wrote, "I’m not crying, you’re crying! That was great and well deserved."
AGT airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on NBC. You can also stream the show on Sling and Peacock.

Australian finalist calls out AGT audition, continued
Matt Tarrant, a finalist on Australia's Got Talent in 2023, took to X after Jo and Curry's audition aired on AGT.
Matt and his fake goose performed a similar act on the Australian version of the show.
They were able to guess the judges' first dates and kisses. Both act also ended their routine by cracking open an egg.
"IT HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE AND AT LEAST MY CHICKEN WAS 100% REAL #AGT," Matt joked on X.
He shared a screenshot of his act under AGT's post about Jo and Curry.
Australian finalist calls out AGT audition
On a recent episode of America’s Got Talent, Jo De Rijk and his fake chicken, Curry, auditioned for Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell.
The mind-reading chicken correctly guessed each judge's fears, leaving the audience and fans shocked.
All four judges gave Jo and Curry a yes to move on to the next round, however, one former finalist pointed out that the act has been done before.
Meet Golden Buzzer winner Reid Wilson
Reid Wilson is 14 years old and came all the way from Alabama to audition for AGT.
His audition aired during last night's episode, and Howie Mandel was so impressed he hit his last Golden Buzzer for the young star.
Reid sang a soulful rendition of Lesley Gore's track, You Don't Own Me, released in 1963.
He told the judges that his inspiration was Aretha Franklin.

Brent Street is a dance troupe that is known as "Australia's Home of Performing Arts."
Dancers from around the world can take classes at the school and participate in their training programs.
The best dancers from the school auditioned for AGT on June 26 and received one of Howie Mandel's Golden Buzzers.

Legion Dance is an Argentinian dance company that practices traditional Latin-style dance with a twist.
They light their feet on fire before every performance and dance with literal fire under their toes!
Sofia Vergara loved the unique routine so much that she pressed her Golden Buzzer for the group.

Sky Elements is comprised of engineers who create massive drone light shows.
They auditioned on AGT outside and lit up the sky near the studio.

Liv Warfield received Simon Cowell's first Golden Buzzer of the season.
The veteran singer performed with Prince's New Power Generation and sang alongside former members of the rock band, Heart.
Despite her impressive resume, she admitted during her audition that she never broke into the mainstream and was hoping AGT could take her there.

Learnmore Jonsai received Terry Crews' Golden Buzzer during his audition in Episode 1.
He's a Zimbabwean stand-up comedian and actor, who specializes in observation comedy.
Learnmore has performed across 20 countries and was a winner of the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival.

When discussing his journey to AGT, Richard Goodall said, "Eventually, I was like, I got to find myself a job, so I became a janitor at Chauncey Rose Middle School, which is only three blocks away from my house.”
"The kids would hear me sing, and they tell me that I've got talent," he explained.
"That's why I'm here. That's why I got on a plane," he told the judges.
Richard has been a janitor at the middle school for 23 years.
His cover of Journey's hit ballad went viral in 2022 and even gained the attention of the band's frontman Steve Perry.
Meet Golden Buzzer winner Richard Goodall
Richard Goodall scored the first Golden Buzzer of the season from Heidi Klum after his astounding rendition of Journey's Don't Stop Believin.
He auditioned for the show back in 2009 but didn't make it past the first round of open auditions.
During his second try, he wowed the judges and received two standing ovations and a yes from each judge.
He was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. Richard has loved music his whole life and recalled during his audition listening to songs in his bedroom on his "Radio Shack stereo."
Explaining the buzzers on AGT
America's Got Talent features red buzzers that the four judges can press when they've seen enough of an audition.
When they press the buzzer, a loud noise echoes in the arena, and a giant red "X" lights up over the stage.
The show also gives judges and hosts a Golden Buzzer that can send a contestant straight to the live performances.
There are nine Golen Buzzers this season, with each judge having two selections and host Terry Crews receiving one.
