A BELOVED Saturday Night Live cast member has said goodbye to the iconic series.

The news came after another comedian had left SNL.

On Friday, Molly Kearney revealed they would not return for the upcoming SNL 50th Season.

In an emotional post shared on their Instagram, the star shared several snaps of their time on the show.

For the caption, they wrote, "Yall that’s a wrap on my time on SNL!

"Reflecting on the amazing 2 seasons I got on this show, it was such a dream come true.

"So incredibly grateful for this period in my life. So much love to all my big hearted buddies behind the scenes who make the magic happen every week.

"So many bald caps, so little time.

"It was a true honor to work with such a talented group of writers and don't even get me started on the cast," they said.

They concluded their post by giving a shoutout to the crew who has been with them since the beginning.

Molly made their SNL debut in 2022 and was the first nonbinary cast member on the show.

'YOU'RE A STAR'

Many fans, cast, and crew members praised the star in the comment section.

SNL star Ego Nwodim said, "Love you my baby."

"My baba," star Heidi Gardner commented.

Chloe Fineman wrote, "Bestie!!!!!!"

One follower wrote, "You're a legend you're an icon you're a star you're everything."

"Excited to see what's up next for you!!!" a second exclaimed.

A third said, "Time to take over the world."

"Proud of you, Mol! Exciting things to come," stated someone else.

MOVING ON

On Thursday, Punkie Johnson revealed she would also not be returning.

On her Instagram, she sent out a video confirming the news.

"After four seasons, I will not be returning to SNL."

She said that during a recent comedy show, she opened up the floor for questions, with SNL cast members and writers in the audience.

Punkie was asked what she was looking forward to on the 50th Season.

"I said, 'I ain't coming back.'

"It’s no bad blood, it’s no bridges burned, it’s no hard feelings.

"Bro, I love my people! I didn’t think none of this was going to be a big deal.

"SNL was a dream I didn’t even know that I could achieve. I was a part of one of the most elite institutions in comedy, and I am so grateful for it."
