Who won Love Island 2022?

"You are a liar, an actress" is probably one of the most popular phrases of Love Island 2022.

Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's time in the villa was anything but a smooth ride, but they managed to win the public's hearts - and the ITV2 reality show.

The pair were crowned champs and took home the £50,000.

Ekin said: "It feels so surreal finding the man of your dreams and just growing."

On what she liked most about Davide, she added: "Apart from the perfect body, I would definitely say there was an instant spark and a genuine butterfly feeling."

She summed up their relationship as "absolutely bonkers".

The pair failed to go the distance after emerging from the villa.

The couple were first reported to have split 11 months after the final in June 2023.

However by August it appeared their relationship was back on track.

The couple made the final "decision to end it" in January 2024 and have gone their separate ways.

Luca Bish and Gemma Owen got together in the early stages of the competition.

Their relationship appeared to be quite tense, but they both confessed to being in love.

But it wasn't enough to win the public over, and they placed second on Love Island 2022.

Luca went on to meet Gemma's famous dad, Michael Owen, but the relationship was not meant to be and they split.

Dami and Indiyah - Third place

Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack started off their Love Island journey as friends but quickly became an item.

However, both of their heads were turned in Casa Amor, which led to an awkward re-coupling with Indiyah telling Dami: "May the best heartbreaker win".

Both were slightly stubborn towards revealing how they actually felt towards one another, but it wasn't long until the Casa Amor drama was water under the bridge to them.

Their fellow islanders all agreed that they were the most "compatible" in the villa, but the public weren't sure, and placed them in third.

Indiyah and Dami now live together and are still going strong as of May 2024.

Andrew and Tasha - Fourth place

Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri had their fair share of ups and downs in the villa.

The pair, who were together since the first day, were caught up in the middle of a Casa Amor drama.

Both Andrew and Tasha had their heads turned by the bombshells but after some heated discussions and cries, they soon realised that they only wanted each other.

The two became Love Island 2022's first official boyfriend and girlfriend.

But they came in fourth in the grand final, which was essentially last place out of the four remaining couples.

The couple have moved in together and are busy doing renovations on their home.
