Kamala Harris is the 49th vice president of the United States. She has served in this position since Joe Biden was elected president in 2021. Harris is currently running for president in the 2024 election against Donald Trump. From 2017 to 2021, Harris represented California in the US Senate and previously served as the attorney general for California, as well as the district attorney of San Francisco. Harris is married to Douglas Emhoff, with whom she shares two step children.
