The Baton Rouge Delta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Economic Development Committee hosted "Delta Tank," a small business pitch competition and pop-up shop on June 30.

The event was in partnership with the Greater King David Baptist Church and was held at the John E. Montgomery II Auditorium in Baton Rouge.

The event was designed to empower small minority- and female-owned businesses to present their entrepreneurial ideas and seize the opportunity to elevate their business. This pitch competition was judged by individuals who worked daily to give entrepreneurs the tools and resources they needed to be successful. Business grants were awarded to the winners.
