Addison Rae Easterling and NERDS candy will both make their Super Bowl commercial debuts on Sunday.

Easterling, a Lafayette native who gained fame for her lively TikTok dance videos (she has 88.4 million followers) and friendship with Kourtney Kardashian ("The Kardashians"), plays a dance instructor in the TV spot.

"(She's) teaching a mystery student dance moves, but we don't know who it is," a news release from Ferrara Candy Company states. "The spot then reveals it's been the NERDS Gummy being coached — someone quite literally new to the scene — that's been hard at work in the dance studio all along."

Gummy, the plump new animated character created in the likeness of NERDS Gummy Clusters, shakes it to the beat of Irene Cara's "Flashdance … What a Feeling" from the iconic 1983 film. The character's performance finale pays homage to the Jennifer Beals-starring movie's wet chair dance.

The 30-second spot is expected to air during the second quarter of the 5:30 p.m. Kansas City Chiefs-San Francisco 49ers matchup.

"I was so excited when I got the call to be part of such a huge moment …," Easterling said. "'Flashdance' just so happens to be my all-time favorite movie, and it really resonates with me as I turned my love of dance into a career."

Since moving to Los Angeles, the 23-year-old is also pursuing singing, songwriting and acting.

She released her first EP, titled "AR," in 2023, and was last seen in the horror-mystery-thriller "Thanksgiving," which hit theaters around that holiday last year. She also appeared in the 2021 Netflix film "He's All That."

In September, Forbes reported that Easterling is the third-highest-earning TikTok personality and makes more than $27 million. Forbes reported that she has had partnerships with Pandora, Vital Proteins, American Eagle and a multi-million-dollar Netflix deal. She is the founder of cosmetics line Item Beauty, which is sold direct-to-consumer and at Sephora.
