The LSU School of Art's juried summer exhibition, 'Wild.', runs through Aug. 24, in the LSU College of Art + Design's Glassell Gallery in the Shaw Center of the Arts, 100 Lafayette St.

The show examines themes of wild, wildness and wilderness through artwork by contemporary local and regional artists and culture bearers. Artist and Xavier Professor of Art Ron Bechet juried the show, choosing 44 works by 37 artists out of the 239 entries submitted by 80 artists.

Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday with extended hours to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The gallery also will host a free closing reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 24. Admission is free to both the exhibit and reception.
