Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge is joining a Catholic Charities USA national campaign highlighting the services Catholic Charities agencies provide in their local communities, a news release announced.

The campaign is called “We Are There.”

“This campaign recognizes that Catholic Charities agencies across the country provide life-changing services to those most in need,” said David Aguillard, executive director. “Whether we are assisting hurricane survivors, welcoming our neighbor from around the globe, providing a safe haven for expectant mothers in crisis, or distributing food to the hungry, CCDBR is there.”

The awareness campaign will feature services offered for expectant parents in crisis, adopted people and families, disaster survivors, food insecure, and families fleeing persecution around the world on social media, local radio and TV.

For 60 years, CCDBR has brought comfort, hope and relief to our neighbors, regardless of their faith, throughout the 12-civil parishes of the Diocese of Baton Rouge, the release said.
