The police kept firing continuous rounds of live ammunition, rubber bullets, birdshots. I don't know how many died. I saw at least one. Unfortunately, the compound could not be stormed on that day. Mubarak's men initially controlled Abdel Moneim Riyadh Square and the 6th October Bridge but the revolutionaries managed to evict them from both.
