Joseph Harker is a Guardian columnist and is the Guardian’s senior editor of diversity and development. He is a former deputy Opinion editor and before coming to the Guardian he was editor and publisher of the weekly newspaper, Black Briton. He writes about race, politics, sport and culture, and more.
